Hirose Judo Academy athlete Rio Hirose has completed her first European competition tour, representing Australia.
Rio competed in the following international events:
- Prague Junior European Cup 2026 (Czech Republic)
- Paks Junior European Cup 2026 (Hungary)
She was defeated in the first round at both competitions.
Although the results were disappointing, competing against some of Europe’s strongest junior athletes provided valuable international experience and highlighted important areas for future development.
Hirose Judo Academy would like to sincerely thank Judo Australia, the Australian coaching staff, training partners, officials, volunteers, and everyone who supported Rio throughout this European campaign. Their guidance, encouragement, and support made this opportunity possible.
